PHILADELPHIA, PA March 2 – The Convention of States Senior Adviser Senator Tom Coburn will be the featured guest for “The Speaker Series”, sponsored by WPHT 1210AM, Philadelphia, on Thursday, March 22nd at 7:00 p.m. WPHT afternoon host, Rich Zeoli, will emcee the evening event at the Broadway Theatre of Pitman in Pitman, New Jersey.

Article V of the United States Constitution empowers the States to call a convention to propose amendments and the COS Project’s resolution calls to impose fiscal restraints, limit the power and jurisdiction of the federal government and put term limits on the Congress and federal officials, such as judges. Through Article V the States possess the authority to reorganize the power structure to preserve liberty.
