Trick or Treat!
It’s not just for Halloween...
One of the privileges we have as United States citizens is the selection of our representatives in government. We have that ability again tomorrow, November 6. The decisions we make tomorrow will have a long lasting impact on all our lives.
Whether we elect candidates who defend liberty and the Constitution is up to us. I know you will vote. I do have a favor to ask.
Make a list of 5 to 10 liberty-loving friends and family to contact and make sure they vote. This is the most consequential election in decades. If we turn out our base of liberty-loving individuals, liberty and freedom will win the day.
One ballot item that is critical that we defeat is Amendment 1.
Opposition to Amendment 1 includes: Americans For Prosperity, Senator Jim Talent, Missouri Republican Assembly, Missouri Black Legislative Caucus, Rep. Shamed Dogan, Sen. Kiki Curls, Sen. Maria Chappell-Nadal, United For Missouri, and others across the political spectrum.
Hopefully, you’ve read the e-mails the last few weeks detailing how harmful Amendment 1 would be for Missouri.
- Loss of privacy
- Partisan gerrymandering would be the rule
- Loss of community representation
- Focuses on fairness to political parties instead of constituents
- Manipulation of our electoral process by outside actors
- Redistricting under the control of a partisan political office
Remember to vote on November 6 and Vote NO on Amendment 1.
In liberty,
