As we know, a combination of atmospheric sulfur, moisture, and oxygen can combine to tarnish gold.
Those elements (whatever that is coming from Mitch McConnell's office, the tears of The Squad, and heavy breathing among some of the more elderly political careerists) are still in abundance among the usual suspects in Washington, D.C.
