State Legislators want to meet you

Published in Blog on October 11, 2018 by Laurie Wheeler

As Convention of States Virginia prepares each year for the legislative session in the General Assembly, the state legislators have put out a request: show us more of the grassroots.

The Virginia state senators and state delegates want to meet you! They like to meet with their constituents face to face, to discover why we want a Convention of States.

They would like to personally talk to the 49,000 Virginians who have signed the petition for a Convention of States.

Join the growing ranks of District Captains in Virginia, who are determined to rein-in the corruption in Washington, D.C.

Our co-founder Michael Farris explains in this video how District Captain teams influence their state legislatures to call a Convention of States.

The goal is assign a District Captain to each legislative district of which Virginia has 100 in the lower house.

The District Captains then team up with 100 volunteers in their corresponding districts to influence their representatives.

100 x 100 = 10,000

We easily have the petition signers. We have several District Captains, but we need more. We also need to build the teams to join each District Captain.

Can you imagine the difference we'd make with a team like that? Wouldn't you like to be part of history?

Make a difference. Join our team!
