When the General Assembly's legislative season frigidly ended by not even glancing at our COS resolution, Convention of States Virginia brought on the spring thaw with numerous events around the Commonwealth.

As a result, Virginia has grown by several thousand.

COS Breakfast Chats

COS Breakfast Chats are growing in popularity across Virginia.

COS Breakfast Chat Fredericksburg

Setting the pace for COS Breakfast Chats has been Team Fredericksburg, holding monthly breakfasts every month for the last couple of years.

COS Breakfast Chat Chester

Williamsburg and Chester have been popular breakfast sites for the last couple of years, as well.

COS Breakfast Chat Williamsburg

The spring season saw the premiere of COS Breakfast Chats in Ruckersville and Lynchburg.

Be sure to check our Event Page for the next COS Breakfast Chat near you.

Convention of States on Virginia Radio

Media Liaison Barry Stanton organized several radio hits with national COS speakers, Rob Natelson and Mark Meckler.

Rob Natelson is a U.S. Constitutional scholar, with expertise focus on Article V of the Constitution. He was interviewed on two Virginia radio stations.

On April 8 Professor Rob Natelson was interviewed by John Reid of Richmond's Morning News WRVA.

On April 19 Professor Rob Natelson was interviewed by The Schilling Show of Charlottesville WINA:

Professor Robert G. Natelson, U.S Constitutional scholar and author of  The Law of Article V: State Initiation of Constitutional Amendments, discusses Article V, Pre-ratification discussion, and dispelling the myths.

Mark Meckler is co-founder of the Convention of States Project and president of our parent organization, Citizens for Self-Governance.

On May 23 Mark Meckler was interviewed by The Schilling Show of Charlottesville WINA:

Mark Meckler, president of Citizens of Self-Governance, grassroots activist, and member of the great California exodus, discusses the socialism threat to America, the recent Rasmussen poll, and the breakdown in civil society.

On May 23 Meckler also spoke on The Larry O'Connor Show WMAL Washington D.C. (Washington D.C. is also known as Virginia's backyard). Listen in, not only as they talk about Washington D.C. but they talk big news about Virginia.

Listen as Larry spoke with Mark Meckler, President of the Citizens of Self-Governance and The Convention of States, about the Convention of States, the Constitution and more!

On May 24 Meckler was interviewed by The Joe Thomas Show of Charlottesville WCHV:

Mark Meckler is on with good news from the Convention of States movement and high hopes going into Virginia's 2019 General Assembly overhaul and talk about the recent Gallup poll that claims 40% of Americans want Socialism.

Virginia now has over 41,000 supporters. Growing the grassroots will make the difference in persuading the state legislature to use their unique role in calling a Convention of States.
