On April 6, COS Senior Advisor Tom Coburn spoke at the 2018 Pennsylvania Leadership Conference in Camp Hill.
The two-day conference was attended by over 500 people, including members of the Pennsylvania General Assembly and candidates for state-wide office and for the U.S. Senate.
The Convention of States Pennsylvania team set up an information table at the conference, and numerous petition signatures were obtained. Sen Coburn’s comments were very well-received, and he was able to answer several questions from the audience.
While at the conference Sen. Coburn was able to obtain a commitment from Pennsylvania Senate committee leadership to move the COS resolution to a vote later this spring. This is a significant positive development for the Pennsylvania team, and should have major impact on grassroots development.
COS Pennsylvania State Director Steve Davies also participated in a panel discussion on Article V and other topics.
