The Convention of States Pennsylvania team has been informed that the Senate State Government Committee will hold a public hearing on our Article V resolution (SR 133) on October 17 from 9am to 11am in Room 1, North Building.
In light of this outstanding development, we are re-scheduling our rally and lobby effort to noon on October 17.
COS President Mark Meckler will address the rally, and members of the General Assembly are expected to attend as well. This will enable you to not only meet Mark Meckler and visit with your legislators, but to actually attend a critical committee hearing and show support for COS by wearing one of the buttons we will have on hand for you!
If you can only make it to the capitol one day this year, October 17 is the day we need you there!
Schedule of Events on October 17
9:00am: Attend Committee Hearing on COS resolution in Room 1, North Building.
Try to be a few minutes early so we can pack the hearing room.
12:00pm: Rally with Mark Meckler.
1:00pm: Deliver our packet of educational materials to your legislators and ask for their support.
