It was another record-breaking weekend for the COS New Jersey team, as they amassed 280 signed petitions at the 37th Annual Quick Chek New Jersey Festival of Ballooning.
Not only was the state's single-event record shattered, COS New Jersey also broke the single-day record set in May at the Mark Levin book signing, by gathering 153 signed petitions on Saturday, one petition shy of last year's total at this event!
"Events like the Balloon Festival are prime opportunities to reach our fellow citizens directly," said District Captain Sean Nelson. "The COS NJ Team are fellow patriots, who I am proud to fight side-by-side [with] in this revolution."

Over 20 COS New Jersey volunteers helped at the festival. Even spouses and significant others of volunteers pitched in over the course of the three days, and their hard work paid off in a big way.
“Our NJ team’s dedication goes beyond grassroots activism, [and] extends to educating fellow Americans about [the] eternal truth of self governance from the Founding, [and it] was on full display at the balloon festival,” shared FUT member Carlo Nardone.
New Jersey was not the only state represented by new petition signers. Citizens from states like Georgia, New York, Pennsylvania, and Connecticut also expressed their support for COS.
"The New Jersey Balloon Festival provided an exciting and 'uplifting' atmosphere for meeting, encouraging, and enlisting incredible patriots from many states," explained District Captain Susan Beckett-Jones. "There is great hope and faith [across the country] this COS will indeed be called."

Summing up his feelings about this movement, Sean commented, "Convention of States has renewed my hope in restoring liberty for future generations."
