Yesterday the House State Government Committee announced it will hold a voting meeting for the Convention of States resolution (HR 206) December 16 in Room 60 of the Main Capitol Building East Wing!
The exact time for the meeting is not known right now, but it will happen sometime after 1:00 p.m. during a session break. It is critical that we fill the meeting room, just as we did for the hearing back in October.
Now is the time to reach out to your House member and ask that he/she support the resolution when it comes up for a House Floor vote. The House Floor vote will be scheduled after the committee vote is accomplished.
This is a huge step for the COS Pennsylvania effort, and it has happened thanks to the unwavering support from all of you. We are proving that the citizens of Pennsylvania are just as upset about what's going on in D.C. as the citizens of the 15 states that have already passed the COS Article V resolution.
