Hawaii's House of Representatives has Convention of States applications waiting in committees.
After being referred to not one, not two, but three committees, the Convention of States resolutions, HR7 and HCR5 are now languishing as they wait for a scheduled public hearing.
The first of the three House committees handling the resolutions is Legislative Management (LMG). Chaired by Rep Bertrand Kobayashi, LMG is now in control of any further progress for the Article V applications in Hawaii's House of Representatives.

Dear Representative (Kobayashi or Nakashima),
As a resident of Hawaii and a supporter of the Convention of States Action Project, I respectfully request you hold a public hearing for House Resolution 7 (HR7) and its companion, House Concurrent Resolution 5 (HCR5) in the Legislative Management Committee.
These resolutions are needed today more than ever for Hawaii and her citizens as our federal debt spirals out of control and Washington DC intrudes far to much into our state's decision making authority and personal liberties. Please exercise your unique responsibility as a state legislator to limit the federal government and restore the balance of power between Washington DC and the States.
Thank you for your service to the Aloha State.
Sincerely
(Your Name and Address)
