COS Minnesota State Director Jackie Burns says,
This rally is an opportunity to elevate the voices of Minnesotans who want more local control in government. For Minnesotans, a big concern is Who Decides? In matters of state and local governance; will it continue to be the federal government, through redistribution of state revenues, control over public and private lands and failure to balance the national budget? Minnesota legislators can take back the decision-making power that belongs to the states by simply voting “Yay” on the COS resolution.
