You've heard it said that eternal vigilance is the price of liberty.
That's never been more true that it is today.
Everyone agrees that the American people should be doing everything they can to end the coronavirus crisis as quickly as possible, save as many lives as possible, and restore our economy.
But we must be careful that the emergency measures the government is putting in place don't become permanent. Convention of States Action President Mark Meckler appeared on the Conservative Review Podcast with Daniel Horowitz to discuss exactly this issue.
"During times of crisis, like right now, it's really important that we remain vigilant for the protection of our system," Mark said. "This is the nature of government: when there's a crisis, government seizes more power. And in our case, what they're doing at the state level is exceeding the bounds of the Constitution."
