The first half of 2025 has been full of successes for COS, including:
- A new administration with COS endorsers and supporters such as JD Vance, Marco Rubio, Brooke Rollins, Pete Hegseth, Karoline Leavitt, Mike Huckabee took office
- Legislative victories from coast-to-coast including the passage of a clean COS resolution in Texas, approval of the resolution in the South Dakota Senate, the Kansas Senate and the Wyoming Senate, each by well over a supermajority, and a committee victory in New Hampshire
- Key endorsements from Indiana governor Mike Braun, U.S. representative Zach Nunn, and Indiana state representative Craig Haggard
- COS booths and a significant presence at the NRA Annual Meeting and FreedomFest 2025, the latter of which included two speeches delivered by COSA's Mark Meckler
- Approaching 3 million petition signers
- A truly exemplary class in our Emerging Leaders Program
