Convention of States Action leaders recently met with veterans and volunteers in Overland Park to encourage more grassroots action and form a Veterans Coalition Action Team to join the effort to expand and strengthen the grassroots in Eastern Kansas. COS Action leaders warned that as the Convention of States movement gets closer to a convention, opposition will intensify and the grassroots in Kansas and other states must be strong enough to resist what will come.
We should expect the corporations and non-government entities feeding from the all-you-can-eat buffet, along with their government and media facilitators, to mount a vigorous campaign to discredit COS, COS supporters and our objective of limiting the power and jurisdiction of the federal government. The opposition has everything at stake and will not go quietly. One only needs to see what they are doing to keep a former president from returning to get an idea of what they will do to protect its access to unlimited funding.
Kansas COS Action is planning to increase public exposure to COS by participating in more county fairs, community festivals, guns shows and similar events. These events require more volunteers and this is why mobilizing these Veteran Coalition Action Teams is required.
If you want to stand with other Kansans to contend for the future of our constitutional republic we invite you to step forward and sign up to be a Volunteer Activist. If you want to help us organize the grassroots in your area you can become a District Captain. If you want to stand with other veterans on one of our action teams you can sign up here. Some volunteers are planning home meetings to introduce their neighbors to the COS movement. This is a highly effective way to grow and strengthen our Kansas grassroots. If you are interested in hosting a home meeting submit your name and contact information with the form below and we will contact you.
