Wausau Mine Company is a local staple for made from scratch food. Come early and grab yourself something off of their great menu, then stay to chat with our volunteers.
From the Wausau Mine Company website, they describe a legend of "the ghost of a German immigrant named Brandenberg, who was allegedly murdered in one of the booths still inhabits the grounds. Keep a sharp eye for our local miner friends!
If “Virgil” our resident miner with a weakness for the booze spots you, the topic of the conversation will be mining. From the authentic mining artifacts to the working replica of a copper mine, and the multitude of pictures depicting miners performing their daily tasks, the walls tell a thousand stories.
As a grassroots nonprofit organization, Convention of States has grown to over 3.2 million supporters nationwide. Over 14,000 Wisconsinites have signed petitions calling for an Article V limited convention based on the following points:
- Enacting fiscal restraint on the federal government,
- Limiting the federal government's scope and jurisdiction,
- Mandating term limits for federal employees and members of Congress.
Convention of States has experienced volunteer growth of 300% since 2016 in Wisconsin alone. Join us at Wausau Mine Company and learn how you can help add Wisconsin to the list of twelve other states who have already signed resolutions in support of an Article V convention.
