On Sunday, January 9, the Convention of States Hawaii Team set up a tent and display table at the Freedom Rally with Scott Presler. It was a great opportunity to meet like-minded, freedom-loving people and to get more petition signers, while educating others on COS.
Led by State Director Mark White, the small group was able to obtain 30 new petition signers and recruited a new District Captain.
It has been a year-and-a-half since Hawaii Governor David Ige started exercising his statutory 60-day emergency order authorization. When 2021 ended, it was like taking off a shoe that was too tight. Now in 2022 it's become more and more obvious that the people are awakening, and we'll not continue this madness. We are speaking up and standing firm on our convictions.
Paul Macri has been so concerned with the government's overreach and unconstitutional mandates during the pandemic, he signed the petition and volunteered to be a District Captain with Convention of States Hawaii.
