Hawaii Team Makes One Last Capitol Visit

Published in Blog on May 03, 2019 by Mark Kenneth White

Members of the Convention of States Hawaii team prepare for their final Wednesday Surge visit. Pictured left to right are State Director Mark White, Grassroots Coordinator Brett Kulbis, FUT member Donna Van Osdol, District Captain Stephen Bischoff, District Captain Jake Wilson and his daughter Aurora Wilson, and supporters Jack Van Osdol and Rita Kama-Kimura.

With Hawaii's 30th Legislature "Sine Dei" (concluded) as of May 2, the Convention of States Hawaii team made one final visit to all legislative offices on Wednesday, May 1.

The purpose of the surprise visit was to distribute the latest Legislative Heat Map, showing that two out of three voters support a Convention of States as well as a list of 15 states that have passed the Convention of States resolution.

The latest handout from Convention of States Hawaii shows Republicans, Democrats, and Independents support the idea of a Convention of States.

To say the Hawaii team's visit came as a surprise to those offices visited would be an understatement. Office managers and staff-- some of whom were on their last day of work--were all welcoming, cordial, and pleased to see our grassroots team one last time before ending the 2019 session.
