We are in the midst of the holiday season.
We are blessed in so many ways. We are blessed to live in the greatest country in world history. A country dedicated to the principles that all men and women are created equal. That we are endowed by our Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are: life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
The Framers created a government structure to protect these natural rights. They would not recognize our government as it exists today.
Fortunately, the Framers provided us with a process to rein in an out of control government. This is found in Article V of the Constitution. A way for the people, acting through their state legislatures, to exercise their constitutional oversight.
This is an effort many of you have pledged a portion of your free time and resources to support. We have lots of work to do and our republic is at stake.
Thank you for your involvement and commitment to Convention of States. More important, thank you for your commitment to your fellow citizens and future generations. It is a privilege to be your teammate.
