Saturday, July 9th was a great day for the COS Hawaii team as they participated in a surprisingly crowded God’s Ohana (family) Day celebration.
Several members of the Hawaii team rallied early on Saturday, July 9th, to put on a fantastic COS display booth at the God’s Ohana Day celebration at Kapiolani Park, Waikiki. Included in the Hawaii team were two new volunteers who brought an abundance of energy and enthusiasm to the event.

Ohana, meaning 'family' in the Hawaiian language, is exactly how to describe the camaraderie shared by the Hawaii team. New volunteers Sheryl Bieler and Ginai (Hill) Curti, were instrumental in gaining new petition signers throughout the day. The Hawaii team collected 32 new petition signatures, 11 of whom are interested in volunteering. Thanks to Sheryl’s connections at the event, several new supporters are also local candidates for office.
