Are you ready to save the nation?
The people of the United States face an ever-expanding government with authority and jurisdiction far beyond what the Constitution intended. Due to heinous regulations and a swelling national debt, self-governance in America is crumbling.
We need students who want to make a true difference. We want young, trailblazing leaders who want to take back our country and our liberty. If you are a college student or a high school senior, step up and join the fight by applying for the Emerging Leaders Program!
The interns of the Emerging Leaders Program are tasked with responsibilities that make an impact on the organization. This is not some coffee-runner, pencil-pushing internship. You will be working in conjunction with the COS National Team, contributing to projects at several different levels in order to bring our mission to completion.
This internship will strengthen your ability to strategize, research, manage projects, and communicate while you learn about leadership, history, politics, and grassroots activism. Furthermore, this internship is remote! You can work from anywhere: your school, a coffee shop, or the comfort of your own home.
If you're a college student or high school senior -- or you know any young people who might be interested in this opportunity --check out our Internship Page by clicking here.
We have five internship opportunities available.
Available Internships
COS invests time and resources into your personal and professional development. During your internship, you will undergo a discussion-based leadership course centered on Servant Leadership by Dave Kuhnert among other readings. Led by the Intern Coordinators Weston Boardman and Jack McPherson, you will learn how to integrate its teachings into your everyday life through weekly video discussions featuring our President, Mark Meckler. Part of the curriculum also includes discussions and advice from individuals such as Senator Tom Coburn and Tim Dunn.
Throughout the course of the internship, our team assists in the development of your professional portfolio: resume, cover letter, interviewing skills, etc., in order to give you the tools to thrive in the professional world. All interns are also invited to attend at least one all-expenses paid trip! The trip will have both professional and political elements to them, giving interns networking and learning opportunities in the liberty movement.
