The incentive structure in Washington D.C. is out of whack. D.C. does too much, spends too much and stays there too long. The overwhelming majority of Americans agree with this.
So why don’t things change?
Because not enough ordinary citizens like you and me demand it.
This is the purpose of Convention of States Action. D.C. is not going to fix itself. An overwhelming majority of Americans know this as well. The Framers knew this too. That is why they gave us, you and me, the ability to rein in the federal government by working through our state legislatures.
