This continues to be a remarkable year. One thing is for sure: panic rarely yields a favorable outcome. We need to look at the evidence and stay faithful to the Constitution and the rule of law.

There have been several unknowns throughout the pandemic. We’ve each tried to navigate these challenges the best we can. The current turmoil of the election was clearly predictable and known for some time. It shouldn’t be surprising to see what has transpired over the past week.

As I went out for my run this morning, I ran past the local National Cemetery. I looked across the grounds at all the grave markers. The crosses, Stars of David, and monuments to our fallen soldiers are always a sobering sight.

These souls from all races, colors, and creeds signed their name on the line to defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic. They made the ultimate sacrifice to honor that oath.

This made me think about all the things that have not changed. Freedom is always under assault. Individual sovereignty is always in danger of what is labeled “the common good.”

It is always easier to act on emotion rather than reason. Government always acts to protect itself. If it comes down to preserving the status quo or individual freedom, the government will always choose itself.

Regardless of how this election turns out, politicians will continue to do too much, spend too much, and stay too long. D.C. will never do anything to change the status quo.

But We The People can!

What must we do now? The same thing we need to do every day: defend our republic. There are many ways to do this. We can run for political office. We can work in Central Committees. We can help in political campaigns. These are all important. If the past few election cycles have shown us anything, it’s that these things are insufficient.

The underlying issue in society today is a refusal to embrace the truth. Everything else springs from that point.

Our mission is to create the largest grassroots team of citizen activists for self-governance. Our commitment is to the Constitution and our founding principles. We see the passion in our country today. People are engaged, and they can be moved to action. They are thirsty for the truth. They are looking for solutions to end their frustration.

The Framers provided us with the solution. Let’s take this opportunity to learn something new about our Constitution and our history each day. Let’s engage our communities, present the truth, and educate others about the Article V convention of states process.

Education and activism are central to retaining the American way of life.
