Biden mocks those who are worried about vaccine mandates: "C'mon... freedom?!"

Published in Blog on October 21, 2021 by Article V Patriot

President Joe Biden mocked at a CNN town hall this week those who worry about vaccine mandates.

"Look, the two things that concern me — one, are those who just tried to make this a political issue. 'Freedom.  I have the freedom to kill you with my COVID.' No, I mean, come on. 'Freedom.'" he said in response to a question from Anderson Cooper.

Yes, "freedom," Mr. President. Perhaps you've heard of it?

It's the thing the founders of our country fought and died for. It's the value that motivated thousands of young men to sacrifice their lives during World War II, and it's the right that draws thousands of immigrants to our shores every year.

It's sickening that the President of the United States would mock such a foundational principle. Freedom is the bedrock of our nation, and the federal government's actions to limit our freedom have rightly concerned millions of Americans.

It's time to remind Joe Biden and his Deep State cronies that they work for us. If the American people decide that vaccine mandates impose on their constitutional freedoms, the president has an obligation to adhere to the will of We the People.

He won't do so willingly. That's why we must call an Article V Convention of States.

A Convention of States is called and controlled by the states and has the power to strip the president of all his unilateral power. A Convention can propose constitutional amendments that limit federal authority, limit federal spending, and impose term limits on federal officials.

Once 38 states ratify these amendments after the Convention, Washington, D.C., will be forced to stay within its constitutional bounds. Maybe then President Biden will remember what "freedom" means -- and who should have it.

Petition your state legislator

Almost everyone knows that our federal government is on a dangerous course. The unsustainable debt combined with crushing regulations on states and businesses is a recipe for disaster.

What is less known is that the Founders gave state legislatures the power to act as a final check on abuses of power by Washington, DC. Article V of the U.S. Constitution authorizes the state legislatures to call a convention to proposing needed amendments to the Constitution. This process does not require the consent of the federal government in Washington DC.

I support Convention of States; a national movement to call a convention under Article V of the United States Constitution, restricted to proposing amendments that will impose fiscal restraints on the federal government, limit its power and jurisdiction, and impose term limits on its officials and members of Congress.

I want our state to be one of the necessary 34 states to pass a resolution calling for this kind of an Article V convention. You can find a copy of the model resolution and the Article V Pocket Guide (which explains the process and answers many questions) here: https://conventionofstates.com/handbook_pdf

I ask that you support Convention of States and consider becoming a co-sponsor. Please respond to my request by informing the national COS team of your position, or sending them any questions you may have:
