This week, Texas interim co-director, Tamara Colbert, spoke at the Irving Republican Women’s group about being grassroots difference-makers and being revolutionary in the age of resist.
As a non-partisan group, Convention of States Texas leaders are out in their communities speaking on the constitutional way to permanently drain the swamp. When asking any group, “Are you happy with your federal government?” the response is always the same: “NO!”
The same was true this week when Colbert spoke in Irving. As the featured speaker for their monthly meeting, Colbert explained that a Convention of States is a way for activists to #BeRevolutionary.
In this age of "resist," where the people are told to not do anything but accept the status quo, Colbert talked with them about the COS Project as a revolutionary idea that uses the Constitution to save the country, restore federalism and empower citizens to reclaim their power stolen by years of abuse at the hands of the federal government.
It was a fantastic event, and Colbert says her message seemed very well-received.
