Old Dominion and the Grand Canyon State… There just seems to be a symmetry there that transcends the ordinary. When asked what they hoped to experience at the Convention of States Leadership Summit in Colonial Williamsburg, Virginia, our Arizona contingent replied with the extraordinary!
Allen - I look forward to meeting Mark Meckler and others from National to thank them for their leadership and commitment to this great cause. We owe them a huge debt of gratitude. I also look forward to meeting and learning from other State Directors and Grassroots Coordinators and bring back best practices to Arizona. Last but not least, I look forward to gaining an enthusiasm and energy from seeing this tremendous gathering of patriots and rededicating my efforts to contribute to restoring our republic.
Steven – My expectation is to help develop a ground plan to keep our legislatures on target as we work through the process of garnering our 34 states, then begin the process of choosing commissioners and persuading Arizona's legislature to change their selection process to include a private citizen among the elected officials.
Randy - To learn from others about how to improve on what I do for Convention Of States.
Dan – I hope we determine a unified way forward with resourcing initiatives to grow the grassroots to the point we cannot be defeated politically. I hope to see a viable plan to pass 19 more states. I hope to hear an effective plan to attract those in opposition to our movement by convincing them that our initiative is neither risky nor a threat to their freedom but designed solely to protect their constitutional rights from federal overreach.
Bert – I am excited to learn what the most successful states and districts are doing so that we can all move more quickly toward a Convention of States.
Michael H – I am expecting to bring back a greater understanding of the people who founded America. I also seek to explore the implications of taking the Founders seriously concerning everything they said and wrote.
Michael F – I look forward to meeting others who are disturbed by the direction of our country, and hope to gain the knowledge necessary to help move us back into alignment with the dreams of our Founding Fathers. I truly believe in our method of “inciting a peaceful coup,” taking our country back from special interest groups.
