• Contact your legislator to make your appointment for April 4th.
  
  
  • It's a great time to meet with them, as you're surrounded by supportive, like-minded, self-governing Floridians.
    
    
• Mark yourself busy for April 4th on your calendar and any other days before or after you may need for travel.
  
  
• Let us know you're coming by filling out this Attendance Survey
  
  
• Print and share the flyer with friends, family, neighbors, clubs, etc.
  
  
• If you're coming, be sure to grab yourself a COS shirt. The Blockwalker is a great shirt if you're undecided. 

 

— NEXT STEPS —

• Send Thank-You cards! A quick note of gratitude (i.e. Thank you for choosing to serve as a House Representative/Senator for our Florida district.) is sufficient:
  • Address one to your Florida House Representative, include your address with your signature and place in an envelope.
  • Address another to your Florida State Senator, include your address with your signature and place in an envelope.
  • Place both together in a third envelope.
  • Then, send them by March 30th to:

    Note: if you're coming to the Rally, it's ok to bring them with you and put them in the envelope that morning at 8am.
    
    
• If you need accommodations near the Capitol, it's recommended you arrange that as soon as possible. Places fill up during the 60-day legislative session. You can coordinate travel arrangements with other volunteers on our private FB Group
  
  
• If you'll be coming to Mission BBQ (216 South Magnolia Dr) Monday at 5:30pm, you can prepare for your expenses by viewing the menu here. And, you can help Mission BBQ to have enough of the meat(s) you want by responding to this one-question Mission BBQ Survey.

— Agenda —

• 7am: 22nd floor - COS Prayer Circle
  
  
• 8am: Courtyard/Senate Side - Pray in as a group, Introductions to a few leaders, drop any hand-carried thank you cards into the appropriate legislators' packages, distribute the packages to volunteers who will distribute them.
  
  
• 9am - 11am: Distribute legislative packages, attend scheduled meetings, explore the capitol.
  
  
• 11am - Noon: Veterans Honor-walk. We'll meet in the courtyard at 11am, cross the road to the Veterans Memorial where we will pray and offer gratitude for our veterans, walk together down to the WWII memorial and place a wreath.
  
  
• Noon - 1pm: Lunch—try out the Capitol cafeteria and enjoy like-minded conversation with some fellow patriots.
  
  
• 1pm - 3pm: Join us back in the Courtyard/Senate side for inspirational and informative speeches. Sharing about what we seek to do as a group this legislative session. Logistics for how to stay-in-the-know with COS Florida. Closing prayer.
  
  
• 3pm - 4pm: Information table will remain open with leaders to answer any questions you might like to ask before we end our Rally in Tally
